Guided Tours
Guided tours of the new Service Center are offered. See the new training rooms, the machine bay and the logistics center.
| About 8000 customers will attend courses on 26,000 days in the new training center. International TRUMPF service engineers will also receive their training there. The 17 machines in the training bay and five functional lasers in the laser training rooms open up a host of possibilities for training courses.
The facade of the building designed by the Berlin team of architects, Barkow Leibinger Architekten, is distinguished by a sophisticated blend of glass and metal. The trapezoid facade of brown anodized sheetmetal panels strikes the eye on the south side of the building. In marked contrast to this, the machine bay on the west features extensive glass paneling and external sunscreens.
Completion of the Service Center is the first milestone in a multi-year expansion program underway at TRUMPF headquarters in Ditzingen. Also, a new main gate now welcomes visitors. It delimits the company premises east of Gerlinger Street. Borsig Street, which used to be a public access road, is now part of the company compound. |
